Vitamin Infusion

Dr. Mirza is now offering vitamin infusion therapy for his health conscious clients. Vitamin infusion is administered via IV and provides a multitude of health benefits. The Myers Cocktail in particular is well known to help the body recover from various diseases.

What is The Myers Cocktail?
The Myers cocktail is a vitamin infusion dispensed intravenously. It contains a combination of Vitamin C (an important antioxidant), calcium, magnesium (helps prevent inflammation and supports a healthy immune system), B vitamins, and other important nutrients.  It’s especially known  to help alleviate the symptoms of Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and muscle spasms. Asthma, migraines, allergies, sinusitis, and other maladies also seem to respond well to treatment with the Myers Cocktail.

How Does the Myers Cocktail Work?
Certain illnesses make absorbing important vitamins and nutrients difficult for our bodies. When those vitamins are introduced intravenously, it bypasses the digestive system, so your blood stream is instantly flooded with the healthy nutrients it’s been missing out on. In fact, many patients notice a boost of energy that lasts for days. Those with Fibromyalgia often experience pain relief. Other reported benefits include increased immune response and a general feeling of well-being. Some even choose to have an infusion treatment prior to traveling, returning to school, before cold and flu season, or even to cure a pesky hangover.

Is It Right For Me?
There are factors to keep in mind before deciding to have a vitamin infusion treatment. You should consult with a physician prior to treatment. Occasionally patients feel faint or light-headed during and after treatment, so eating and drinking sufficient water beforehand is encouraged. As with all procedures that involve an injection through the skin, there is a risk of bruising, swelling, or infection at the injection site.

If you suffer from chronic pain, fatigue, migraines, or just want to boost your immunity and overall health, speak to your doctor and find out if vitamin infusion is right for you!
